How are Enrolment Appointments assigned?

Enrolment appointments are the exact date and time you can begin to register in courses.

For fall 2017 and winter 2018 registration, continuing students in most faculties get assigned an enrolment appointment on a specific date and time between March 27 – 31. Students are eligible to enroll any time after their appointment right up until the last day to add for each term. Remember to register for both terms to reserve your seat in your preferred classes.

Enrolment appointments are assigned with priority ranking. The first ranking calculation is based upon how many units are completed including posted transfer credit. No future units are included in this calculation. The second ranking calculation is based on cumulative GPA on completed courses. If there are two or more students with the same cumulative units and GPA, appointments are randomly assigned.

The enrolment appointment schedule for continuing students in 2017 will be as follows:

Enrolment Appointment Date March 27 March 28 March 29 March 30 March 31
Completed & in-progress Units 100-300 Units 75-99.99 Units 51-74.99 Units 30-50.99 Units 0-29.99 Units

Some groups of students have priority enrolment appointments on Monday, March 27, 2017. Those groups include athletes, accessibility students, aboriginal student access program students, and scholar’s academy students.

Some faculties have specific enrolment appointment dates and times. If you’re in one of the following faculties and you have questions about your appointment time, please contact your faculty directly.
