An official transcript outlines your complete academic record at the university up until the day it is printed and includes:
- Student Name
- Student ID Number
- Day and Month of Birth
- Program and Faculty
- All courses currently registered in, attempted or completed and grades received
- Grade point average (GPA) for each term
- Units (credits) per course
- Degrees Awarded
- Transfer credits received
- Honours and awards received
- Current academic standing (e.g. probation, suspension) and non-academic misconduct conditions
Your official transcript is a record of your academic activity and cannot be altered in any way.

Transcript Request Options:
Current and former students can choose one of the following options to request their transcript:
1. Student Centre: Under the "Other Academics" left hand menu, select "Transcript: Request Official" from the drop-down menu. To view the status of your request, click the "View a Transcript That You Previously Requested" button on the "Request Official Transcript" page. Allow three to five business days for processing, plus mailing time.
You'll receive an email notification once your transcript has been processed. Please ensure that your Student Centre information is up-to-date. If you cannot access the Student Centre, please visit the IT eID Support page for further assistance.
2. Email/Mail/Fax: Complete the Transcript Request Form and submit it through one of the methods below:

3. In-person: Bring your photo ID to Enrolment Services during regular business hours and we'll print your transcripts immediately.
You can also designate a third party to request your transcript in-person from Enrolment Services, a Third Party Authorization form must be completed by the student, approving the release of the transcript. When the third party comes in-person to Enrolment Services with the letter of authorization they will be asked for ID, which will be confirmed against the letter of authorization. Your signature will then be verified with what is on file before the transcript is released.
NOTE: Transcripts cannot be requested over the phone.
If you're applying for graduate or professional school, or to an agency that's requesting an official transcript, ensure that you've followed their instructions. Some institutions or agencies require official transcripts be sent directly to them; others request that you collect transcripts in security-sealed envelopes to forward to them along with other application documents.

|Grade Posting||your transcript will be printed once all grades have been posted for the term you specify. For example, if you request grade posting for winter 2016, your transcript won't be printed until all of your grades for the winter 2016 term have been posted.|
|Degree Confer Date||your transcript will be printed once your degree has been conferred. Conferral is the day of your convocation.|
Canada Post: delivery is free of charge using standard mail service.
|Courier To:||Couriers will not deliver to a PO Box unless a telephone number is provided for that location. They also will not deliver to secure apartment buildings. You may request your tracking number for courier deliveries by contacting Enrolment Services.||Fee Per Request:|
Within city limits for home delivery, someone must be present to accept the package or the delivery person must have access to the mailbox.
Some postal codes may also fall outside city limits. When in doubt, check with Enrolment Services to avoid a delay in processing.
Courses and Credits Report (Unofficial Transcripts)
You can print a Courses and Credits report (an "unofficial transcript") through your Student Centre at any time by selecting "Courses and Credits" from the "Other Academic" drop-down menu. Click here for more detailed instructions.
