About:

Calgary Alternative Support Services is an individualized, client directed, employment placement program. Their goal is to help people with disabilities find and maintain the type of work, or career, that they want.

Services include: 

Money Matters: provides financial education and money management assistance to people with mental health issues.

Calgary Alternative Residential Support: provides outreach, live-in and staffed arrangements 

Langin Place: provides supportive housing for single males who are experiencing mental health and/or addictions issues and have trouble maintaining housing (phone: 403-237-5435).

Calgary Alternative Day Options: provides day support for those individuals with high needs who require a flexible program. Options include volunteer placement, vocational training, educational pursuits, recreation and leisure opportunities (phone: 403-283-0611, ext. 228).

Calgary Alternative Poss-Abilities: CAPA provides case management, referral, and advocacy support to young adults with complex needs.

Creative Community Living Activities: provides a therapeutic day program for persons suffering from persistent mental illness (phone: 403-264-1377).
