About:

Alcove meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women seeking healing from violence, addiction and mental health distress by participation in counselling and programming in a unique residential setting

Services:

• New Beginnings: Group residential program 
  • Phase one offers a structured program with professional counsellors onsite two hours a day
  • Provides therapy and healing, group work, life management, independent living skills, individualized program, physical exercise, recreation/leisure 
• New Directions: Shared Accommodation 
  • Focus on independent living skills, education, employment, regular counselling
• Family enhancement
  • Independent living for women and children while in recovery
  • Allows mother and children to remain together well in recovery 
  • Continued support through counselling 
• Day Treatment 
• Outreach Services
