Qiao Sun

Biography

Qiao Sun is the senior associate dean (diversity and equity) at the Schulich School of Engineering. Sun is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and has been with the University of Calgary since 1996. She is the recipient of numerous teaching accolades including three awards for the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Professor of the Year. Sun is a past chair of the Schulich School of Engineering's Gender and Diversity in Engineering Committee and an active contributor to events surrounding women in engineering.
