Responding to Disclosures of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence

1:30–3:30 p.m. | Life Design Hub, MSC 171

A positive first response to disclosures of sexual and gender-based violence can have a powerful impact on the person disclosing. Learn all about providing a supportive response during Consent Awareness Week! In this workshop, participants will learn the three components of a positive first response, become aware of different community and campus resources, and be able to practice responding to disclosures of sexual and gender-based violence.

Join the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Support Office for a Consent Tea Party! Taking inspiration from the viral “Consent Tea” video, this event will create a peer-led dialogue about consent through multiple activity stations.

Tea and snacks will be provided!
