P.2.3 Late Payment of Fees

Students with an outstanding account balance by the term fee deadline date that do not have an approved payment deferral will accrue interest on the outstanding balance at the rate of 1 per cent per month. Interest is calculated on the daily outstanding balance of $100.00 or more and is not compounded.

Students with an outstanding balance of $100 or more will have a hold placed on their record and services will be restricted (see B.7 Withholds). Students will receive email messages to their ucalgary.ca email address on a monthly basis if there is an outstanding balance. Interest rates are subject to change without prior notice.
