B. MAJOR-FIELD REQUIREMENTS AND NORMAL SEQUENCE
The BFA in Visual Arts requires the successful completion of the following program of study, which includes 10.0 to 17.0 full-course equivalents in the Field of Art:
First Year
Second Year
- 1.0 full-course equivalent from the Field of Art or Art History at the 300 level or above
- 1.0 full-course equivalent from the Field of Art History at the 300 or 400 level
- 0.5 full-course equivalent from the Field of the Fine Arts
- 1.0 full-course equivalent in non-Art options
- 1.5 full-course equivalents in open options
Third Year
- 2.0 full-course equivalents from the Field of Art or Art History at the 300 level or above
- 1.0 full-course equivalent from the Field of the Fine Arts at the 300 level or above
- 1.0 full-course equivalent in non-Art options at the 300 level or above
- 1.0 full-course equivalent in open options at the 300 level or above
