B.C Land Surveyors Foundation H. R. Goldfinch Memorial Award British Columbia Land Surveyors Foundation, from donations in the name of H. Roy Goldfinch who died in 1996.  Although Mr. Goldfinch retired from the Land Title Office in Victoria in 1979, he continued as mentor to land surveyors, lawyers, students and articled pupils from a research desk at the Victoria Registry up until the time of his death (almost seventy years). 1 $1000 1 Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student entering fourth year in the Geomatics Engineering program

B.J. Seaman Scholarship Anonymous donation in recognition of B.J. Seaman's participation in bringing the Flames Hockey team to Calgary.  This scholarship has been augmented by a matching donation from Mr. B.J. Barbara and Murray Smith Scholarship in Canadian Politics Nova Chemicals, Inc., the Varsity Conservative Party Riding Association, and a matching allocation from the Faculty of Social Sciences.  This award is made in recognition of the distinguished service that Murray Smith made as the Member of the Legislative Assembly from Calgary-Varsity and his constant support for initiatives of the University of Calgary during the years he served as Minister of Labour, Minister for Gaming and Minister of Energy. 1 $1000 1 Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student entering final year in the Faculty of Social Sciences majoring in Political Science and focusing on Canadian politics

Brian Collins and Joah Atkinson Memorial Award Established by friends and family of Brian Collins and Joah Atkinson.
Brian, in his graduating year at the University of Calgary, was the captain of the U of C Rugby Football Club and always demonstrated leadership, respect, enthusiasm and encouragement		 2 up to $1500 1 Offered annually to one male and one female continuing undergraduate student entering third or fourth year in any faculty at the University of Calgary.
2 The awards are based on demonstrated involvement in sports with preference given to students who have played rugby.
3 Students must have exhibited outstanding citizenship through volunteering or community service that supports the development or encouragement of others.
4 The recipients selected will have maintained a minimum grade point average of 2.60.

C.U.S. - Mike Johnson Memorial Award The Commerce Undergraduate Society in memory of the late Mike Johnson 1 up to $500 1 Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student registered in the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary with a minimum grade point average of 2.90.
2 Minimum grade point average of 2.90.
3 The recipient must have made a positive contribution to a Haskayne School of Business student organization or position, including:  Commerce Undergraduate Society, Commerce Internship, Business Day, AIESEC, Business Action Research, Business Investment Group, Haskayne School of Business Council, student representative on the General Faculties Council, Intercollegiate Business Team or any other student activity not specified.
4 Major consideration is given to student involvement with financial need being considered only in the event of a tie.

2 Academic merit with a minimum GPA of 2.7, with a minimum GPA in Italian of 3.0
3 To be eligible, students must be registered in the credit travel program: Italian Language and Culture in Perugia.
