Overview
At the Laboratory of Engineering Materials, we educate scientists and engineers in the field of material design, processing, and characterization. Our research focuses on processing high performance fibre-reinforced composite materials, but we have also developed technologies for foams, colloids, gels, and coatings. We work collaboratively with industry to advance technology and transfer it to real world applications.
Our mission is to enable a better, more sustainable world through education and the development of advanced materials.
