Thank you for your partnership
Together, we are making a bright future possible by embracing innovation, a can-do attitude and a need to act boldly. UCalgary is the place where learners, researchers, teachers and budding entrepreneurs come to expand their potential through innovative learning experiences, transformative discoveries and lifelong connections.
UCalgary is focused on having meaningful impact on teaching and learning. Through our experiential learning opportunities, the university prepares students for the workforce by giving them hands-on experience in their fields of study.
We are now the No. 1 university in Canada for the creation of startup companies. These companies go on to create jobs and bring economic benefits to our region, showcasing our commitment to entrepreneurial thinking and empowering our students to take risks and create something new.
Our Indigenous Strategy, ii’ taa’poh’to’p, serves as a shining example of our commitment to transformative reconciliation and the Indigenization of the academy. We are working to bring Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, connecting and being to the forefront of our campus community.
We couldn’t have achieved any of this without the support of our community and their shared vision and meaningful partnerships. Fuelled by your philanthropic leadership, UCalgary is where people come to Start something.
Ten years ago, we set out a goal to become a top-five research university. We are. We set out a goal for deeper community integration. It’s happening. We aimed to raise the funds that are now transforming our campuses. We did. And we set out to improve the student experience and focus on research. We have.
