Wait List Registration

The University Child Care Centre Society is a non-profit society operating an early learning and childcare program at the University of Calgary to serve the university community.

* Please note- if you withdraw your child from the University Child Care Centre (Main or West locations), due to a maternity leave or sabbatical, your child(ren) can be placed on the sibling wait list for a maximum of one year. You will have “sibling” priority to a spot in either centre within this one-year time frame, if a spot is available for you. If a spot is NOT available within this year, your application will be removed from the sibling wait list and placed back on the wait list according to your original application date. If you withdraw your child from the University Child Care Centre and would like to go back on the wait list, your application will be filed according to your original application date upon receipt of wait list fee payment.

In accordance with the University of Calgary Registrar’s Office policy, medical residents are considered in the “student” category and post-doctoral fellows in the “faculty/staff” category.

Wait List Registration Fee Information

There is a non-refundable $50.00 Wait List application fee for full time Students. There is a non-refundable $100.00 wait list application fee for Staff/Faculty. You will not be added to the wait list until the application fee is received. Your fee can be paid through e-transfer or dropped off (exact cash or cheque only) to one of our Centre locations or mailed to: University Child Care Centre Society, 450 Campus Place N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 1N4.
