Chancellor's Scholarship Recipients

Since 1990, Chancellor’s Scholarships have supported more than 300 top students, who have become leaders in our communities.

Chancellor's Scholarships

Chancellor's Scholarships are among the most prestigious scholarships offered at the University of Calgary, and attract some of the best and brightest students from across the province and country. Recipients from a range of disciplines are selected through their demonstration of academic excellence and exceptional community involvement.

Up to 40 $10,000 undergraduate scholarships are awarded annually, renewable for up to four years. Funding for these scholarships comes from contributions to the Chancellor's Circle, as well as through the generous support of named donors. Under the leadership of Chancellor Deborah Yedlin, the donor-funded program will commemorate 30 years of supporting the university’s best and brightest students in 2020.

Your community pushes you, supports you and inspires you. The Chancellor’s Circle has done that for me from the day I heard I received the scholarship. I am forever grateful for the amazing opportunity that this scholarship provided me. Thank you for believing in me.
