During completion of this unit on 'media technology' you will have the opportunity to:

• Explore some of the multiple issues and concerns that new technology introduces to the health care provider and to the public at large.
• Investigate statutes and criminal code provisions that pertain to media/technology issues of Internet censorship, obscenity, child pornography, surveillance, confidentiality and media violence.
• Examine specific child abuse and human rights issues with regard to child pornography on the net.
