Fall Protection Program

The university is committed to providing a safe work environment for its employees and contractors and preventing occupational injuries due to falls. The Code of Practice for Fall Protection/Work at Height has been developed to prevent occupational injures due to falls and applies to all work done by employees and/or contractors on property belonging to the University of Calgary. For all tasks where a fall hazard exists, a Fall Protection Plan shall be used to assess the hazard and detail procedures to reduce that hazard.
