Environmental Release Standard

Every day environmentally hazardous substances are used and transported on campus. The release of any of these may trigger a requirement to report the release to a regulator. The circumstance under which a report is required is complex. 

An Environmental Release Standard has been produced to assist the campus community in preventing a release, and in knowing when to report and the authority having jurisdiction. Anyone who may find themselves in such a situation should be familiar with the procedures in this standard.
