5.7 Course Registration
Registration

The Undergraduate Medical Education Office will register successful applicants admitted to the Medical Doctor Program and ongoing students into all required program courses. Payment of fees is the student's responsibility through their Student Centre. For more information refer to the Tuition and General Fees section of this Calendar.

Withdrawal from Courses

Students can withdraw from courses for the following reasons:

  • Academic Issues and Student Academic Review Committee (SARC) Recommendations
  • Approved Leave of Absences
  • Approved Withdrawal from the MD Program

Prior to the add/drop deadline, students will have the course(s) removed from their permanent record and will not be required to pay tuition fees for the course.

After the course change period, a student will have the withdrawal recorded on their permanent record and will not receive a tuition fee credit.
