Preference for admission into this pathway is given to students in rural and remote areas of Alberta. As field experience (practicum) placements can be arranged across Alberta, in the Territories, and in rural and remote British Columbia, students in these areas may also be considered.

Applicants who list two addresses upon application, with one being urban or urban adjacent and the other rural, will have the urban address utilized in the admission process. If admitted, applicants should be aware that field placements will be based on the rural location of primary residence provided upon application.
