Undergraduate students must successfully complete a minimum of 18 units from the Field of Pluralism and Global Citizenship while fulfilling the following requirements:
a) Core courses (Pluralism 201 and Pluralism 401): 6 units
b) Pluralism and Global Citizenship electives: An additional 12 units from the Field of Pluralism and Global Citizenship.Students may count 6 units of language study in the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures, and Cultures among their electives.
Students can seek permission from the program co-ordinator to count toward the certificate requirements a pertinent course not included on the list of electives. This applies to a topics course that addresses a relevant topic.
Students are encouraged to participate in international learning opportunities and can apply to the program co-ordinator to count courses completed in those settings toward the certificate requirements.
