Students are responsible for adhering to the regulations for their program and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their registration based on the regulations outlined in this Calendar. Students complete course registration through their Student Centre using Academic Requirements and the schedule builder available at my.ucalgary.ca.
Students should ensure that courses selected are appropriate to their degree program, including the number of courses to complete requirements for graduation. Particular attention should be exercised with the sequence in which courses are taken to meet any prerequisite or co-requisite requirements.
Students should obtain the advice of their faculty in selecting courses prior to registration; however, the student is ultimately responsible for the correct course selection. Faculties reserve the right to cancel a student's registration in a course if the student fails to meet a stated requirement or when a course is not appropriate to the degree program in which the student is registered.
The University of Calgary reserves the right, published requirements notwithstanding, to refuse registration in courses, on the basis of a student’s overall academic records or on the basis of grounds that, in the opinion of the University, are reasonable in the circumstances.
