Admission

In order to be admitted to the Minor, students must have successfully completed a minimum of 15 units and require a minimum GPA of 3.20 calculated using the most recent course work to a maximum of 30 units.

Students will be considered for admission on a competitive basis, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Requirements for the Minor in Psychology

The Minor in Psychology is regulated by the section of the Faculty of Arts Graduation Requirements entitled 3.3.3 Minor Programs.

Students must successfully complete a minimum of 30 units to a maximum of 36 units from Courses Constituting the Field of Psychology including Psychology 200 and 201. Spaces in Psychology courses are limited and cannot be guaranteed for Minors. Registration in 400- and 500-level Psychology courses is normally restricted to Psychology Majors.
