Foundations in Ethical Leadership
Evidence-based approach to leadership with an emphasis on self-awareness and personal development. Students will learn the behaviours that predict leader emergence and leadership effectiveness. Course Hours:3 units; (3-0) Prerequisite(s):Admission to the Embedded Certificate in Leadership Studies and 60 units. Antirequisite(s):Credit for Leadership Studies 401 and either Kinesiology 311 or Management Studies 453 will not be allowed. Notes:Not available for credit towards the Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Students advance their practical understanding of effective leadership behaviours, and build
capacity to facilitate leadership skills in others. Course Hours:3 units; (3-0) Prerequisite(s):Admission to the Embedded Certificate in Leadership Studies, and Leadership Studies 401 or Management Studies 453. Antirequisite(s):Credit for Leadership Studies 501 and Kinesiology 411 will not be allowed.
