4.2.1 Combined BComm/BA or BSc (Arts) Program

A Major in the Arts consisting of at least 42 or 48 units (depending on the Major selected) is required. Majors are available in: Ancient and Medieval History, Anthropology, Archaeology, Communication and Media Studies, East Asian Studies, East Asian Language Studies, Economics, English, Film Studies, French, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Geography, German, Global Development Studies, Greek and Roman Studies, History, International Indigenous Studies, International Relations, Italian Studies, Latin American Studies, Law and Society, Linguistics, Linguistics and Language, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, Religious Studies and Applied Ethics, Russian, Sociology, Spanish, and Urban Studies.

Requirements

Please consult both Faculties for specific requirements for this program.

Students in Major Programs requiring statistics-based courses should be cognizant of the exclusions listed under the Statistics subject heading in the Courses of Instruction section of the Calendar.

Normally, courses taken to satisfy the Faculty of Arts Major Program in the combined degree may be used, respective of level, to satisfy some or all of the non-commerce breadth requirements in the Bachelor of Commerce program.
