A. FACULTY OF ARTS REQUIREMENTS
Students must adhere to the applicable Faculty of Arts requirements in 3.3.2 Honours Degrees.
B. MAJOR FIELD WITH HONOURS REQUIREMENTS
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 54 units in Courses Constituting the Field of Law and Society while fulfilling the following requirements:

Core Courses: 24 units including:
a. 21 units Law and Society 201, 203, 335, 337, 413, 415, 591;
b. 3 units from: Political Science 342, Philosophy 425, Sociology 329.

Courses with a Focus on Law and Society: 15 units, selected from the list of Courses with a Focus on Law and Society within Courses Constituting the Field of Law and Society.

Context Courses: 6 units selected from the list of Context Courses within Courses Constituting the Field of Law and Society.

Research Methods Requirement: 3 units from the list of Research Methods Courses within Courses Constituting the Field of Law and Society.

Honours Thesis and Seminar: 6 units Law and Society 590.
A maximum of 6 units of Law and Society 501 may count towards major requirements.
