University of Calgary Calendar 2020-2021 Faculty of Arts 3. Faculty Regulations 3.1 Admission
3.1 Admission

See A.2 Undergraduate Admission.

Admission to the Faculty of Arts and to particular programs in the Faculty of Arts is limited. For programs with limited capacity, the admission average will be higher than those for other programs in the Faculty of Arts. See Admission Requirements for minimum competitive averages for each program.

Change of Program

Requests for a Change of Program can be made through the online Student Centre until February 1 for program admission in the upcoming Fall Term. Students must meet the admission requirements for the program to which they are applying. The admission GPA is calculated using the most recent units completed at the time of application. A minimum of 12 units up to 30 units completed will be used.

Change of Program requests for programs with limited capacity and those requiring a portfolio or audition normally are considered only for the Fall Term. Exceptions require the approval of the Associate Dean.
