Students admitted to IFP Pathways with the Schulich School of Engineering complete a structured program including Engineering courses combined with intensive English language and academic course support.
IFP Pathways students will take first-year core engineering courses (30 units) within the Schulich School of Engineering, concurrently with English language support courses (22 units) within IFP over a two-year period. IFP Pathways students’ language and academic course support will consist of:
- 4 academic language instructional courses (International Foundations Program, IFPX)
- 10 "adjunct" language support courses (International Foundations Program Engineering, IFPE) specific to the courses in the Schulich School of Engineering first-year program
Students admitted to IFP Pathways Schulich School of Engineering must complete IFP Pathways and cannot submit English language proficiency scores for early exit.
