Admission to the program is competitive and meeting the minimum admission requirement does not guarantee admission.
Admission from High School
Students must present five Alberta high school courses (or equivalent) including English Language Arts 30-1 (or equivalent) and Biology 30 (or equivalent).
Post-Diploma Students
Students who have completed an approved Community College Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or related field may apply for admission with a block transfer of credit to complete two years of study to earn a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation. Applicants must present or an overall GPA of 2.50 on the diploma.
Transfer Students
Transfer students must present a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher calculated over the most recent course work to a maximum of 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents) (includes University of Calgary courses and/or transferable courses taken at other institutions). All grades within a term will be included except where the number of courses taken within a term exceeds that required to fulfill (to a maximum of) 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents), in which case the highest grades will be used.
Students with fewer than 18 units (3.0 full-course equivalents) of post-secondary courses, will have their admission based on high school standing only.
