Students enrolled in the Aboriginal Student Access Program can take up to four 3-unit university courses per semester. Course selection may be a combination of ASAP core course requirements, electives that are directed to a student’s desired academic program and upgrading courses taken concurrently with their university courses. Student will consult with the ASAP co-ordinator regarding course selections.

Indigenous Studies (INDG) 201 – Introduction to Indigenous Studies
University (UNIV) 205 – Learning Beyond High School: Theories and Practices
Winter
Academic Writing (ACWR) 203 – Introductory Academic Writing II
English (ENGL) 201 – Approaches to Literature
Upgrading courses may be taken through Continuing Education at the University of Calgary (or other adult learning institutions) in conjunction with University of Calgary ASAP courses.
