Effective Fall of 2011, the Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the Faculties of Arts, Kinesiology, and Science, will initiate a five-year Concurrent (Direct Entry) Program. Upon completion students will graduate with two degrees, a Bachelor’s degree in their chosen academic field and a Bachelor of Education.

The Combined Degree with a BEd is being phased out, and as of Fall 2012 is not available for admission.

Concurrent Degrees

The Faculty of Education, in partnership with the Faculties of Arts, Science, and Kinesiology offers the following five-year concurrent degree programs.

It is expected that students will study full-time for five consecutive years.

Information on graduate work leading to the Master of Education degree (MEd), Master of Continuing Education (MCE), Master of Counselling (MC), Master of Arts (MA), and to the Master of Science (MSc), and doctoral programs (PhD and EdD) appear in the Graduate Studies Calendar.
