The Field of South Asian Studies consists of the following courses:

• South Asian Studies 315, 415, 499, 531
• Art History 323
• History 403
• Religious Studies 203, 303, 307, 310, 312, 313, 317, 323, 327, 353, 451, 453

Notes:

• Many of the courses listed above have prerequisites, some of which lie outside the Field of South Asian Studies. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that prerequisites are completed.
• When the content is applicable and with permission of the Program Co-ordinator, Archaeology 325; English 490; History 205, 301, 307, 488; Political Science 359 and Religious Studies 491 may be used as courses with a focus on South Asia.
• Courses taken on a term abroad program may also be approved. Both individual-study and field-school programs in South Asia are potentially eligible.
