Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Science Programs
1. Attainment of at least a 2.00 grade point average over the entire program, as outlined below.
2. Attainment of at least a 2.00 grade point average in all Faculty of Kinesiology courses.
3. No more than the equivalent of two full course "D" or "D+" grades in core course requirements.
4. No more than the equivalent of four full course "D" or "D+" grades throughout the entire program.
5. No "F" grades will be acceptable towards the BKin or BSc degree. A course normally may be repeated only once.
Kinesiology Core Courses
Within the 20 full-course Bachelor of Kinesiology or Bachelor of Science degree, all students must complete the following core courses (7.0 full-course equivalents).
Students are expected to register for a selected number of 200-level requirements (chosen from Kinesiology 201, 203, 213, 243, 245, 251, 253, 259, 260, and 263) in Year 1, as well as some of the 200-level requirements for their chosen major. Since this entails more than five full-course equivalents, students are expected to complete these 200-level courses over several years and will be able to tailor their registrations to suit individual circumstances.
All students must complete at least five full-course equivalents from outside the Faculty of Kinesiology, including at least two full-course equivalents at the Senior level.
Additional Requirements for Bachelor of Science Programs
To meet BSc degree requirements, at least 10 and one half full-course science equivalents must be completed. These include:
