4.8.4 Pre-Speech-Language Pathology Program

For undergraduate students, the Department of Linguistics offers a Concentration in Speech-Language Sciences that provides an opportunity for students intending to pursue this career path. See Concentrations (under BA or BA Honours Linguistics information). A graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology is not offered at the University of Calgary. Graduate programs are offered at the University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, Dalhousie University, McGill University, Université de Montréal, Université d'Ottawa, University of Toronto, and University of Western Ontario. Students considering graduate study in Speech Pathology are advised to investigate the entrance requirements of these programs, as these may differ per university.
