4.5.1 Combined BA or BFA (Fine Arts) / BA (Humanities) Program
Admission and Requirements

In all cases, admission and graduation requirements for both faculties and major programs must be met with the following specifications:

1. Students must complete a minimum of 25 full-course equivalents in order to be considered for both degrees.

2. The number of junior courses taken must not exceed 9 full-course equivalents in total.

3. A maximum of 10 full-course equivalents may be taken at institutions other than the University of Calgary. A maximum of 4 full-course equivalents of transfer credit can be used for each major.

4. Unless otherwise specified in the program details, courses in the Major field must be distinct.

5. The Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree is excluded from this combined degree program. The BA Music and BA Honours Music can be obtained jointly with a Humanities degree.
