Training Spatial Orientation

Summary

The ability to orient in the environment is a complex behaviour that relies on a variety of cognitive functions. As such, individuals differ widely in their ability to find their way around. This research study focuses on investigating the effects of a spatial orientation training program on the ability of the individuals to orient in the environment. This project is particularly important given that spatial orientation skills are critical for our daily life functioning, and also because spatial orientation skills are very well known to decline early in life. By participating in this study you will contribute to improve spatial orientation skills of many people, and, importantly, you will have the opportunity to improve your own ability to orient in the environment!
