PERSPECT: Priorities and Expectations of Researchers, Donors, Patients, and the Public Regarding the Funding and Conduct of Medical Research
Summary
We want to understand the priorities and opinions of patients about medical research. We plan to interview at least 10 patients living with a medical condition. The interview will last around 30 minutes and will be over the computer (Zoom). We will discuss thoughts about the current state of research and its funding. We will also discuss ideas about alternative approaches to improve medical research.
Eligibility
Eligible gender: Male, Female, Transgender, Other
Eligible ages: 18 to 125
Inclusion criteria:
1. Older than 18 years of age
2. Living with at least one medical condition (infections don't count)
Exclusion criteria:
People who cannot speak fluently in English (or alternatively: German or Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi)
