Faculty and staff can now edit their online UCalgary profiles

Faculty and staff can now edit their online profiles in the UCalgary web system. Among the key features are the ability to edit contact information, background, pronouns, biography, research, courses, awards, and publications.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to log in to profiles.ucalgary.ca/user with their CAS credentials to access their profile. Efforts were made to pre-populate profiles with existing data, but users are asked to ensure that it is accurate and complete before publishing it. 

Why the change?

The new profiles system makes it easier to promote academics and their research to potential partners, media, and the general public. The system allows for easy editing and integration into faculty, department, lab and institute sites in the Drupal 8 environment.
