Linguistics major awarded Chancellor’s Award for outstanding poster presentation at Students’ Union Undergraduate Research Symposium

Please join us in congratulating Quinn Goddard, on winning the Chancellor’s Award, for her outstanding poster presentation, “Don’t Believe Everything You Hear: Acoustic Cues in Plains Cree Words,” at the Students’ Union Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS), held November 26-28, 2019.

The Students’ Union Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) is an opportunity for undergraduate students from all faculties to showcase their exceptional research alongside their peers to the broader campus community. It is an accessible, multidisciplinary event for students to acquire academic presentation experience.

The Chancellor’s Award is given to an undergraduate student who exemplifies excellence in research and whose project incorporates cross-disciplinary and/or international collaboration.
