Metamorphic, structural and thermochronological interface between the Purcell Anticlinorium and Kootenay Arc, SE BC

Nicole worked on the tectonic significance of metabasites in the Highland Mountains of Montana for her BSc thesis. At Calgary, she worked on the metamorphic, structural and thermochronological interface between the Purcell Anticlinorium, a major Mesozoic Cordilleran structure cored by Mesoproterozoic strata of the Belt-Purcell Supergroup, and the Kootenay Arc, a deformed and metamorphosed domain to the west that lies at the tectonic interface between allochthonous volcanic terrains and the ancestral North American margin.
