Dr. Chris Coueslan
Metamorphism and tectonics in the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba
Chris completed his MSc at UWO on the mineralogy and chemistry of the Eden Lake alkaline igneous complex, Manitoba. At Calgary he examined the regional metamorphism of the Thompson Nickel Belt (isograds, P-T conditions, timing), and the implications these carry for the tectonic history of the belt and the substantial nickel deposits hosted therein.
