Petrology and tectonics on Cumberland Peninsula, Baffin Island, Nunavut

For his PhD, Brett examined the metamorphic mineral assemblages, isograds, microstructures and petrogenesis of radiogenic accessory phase in rocks from Cumberland Peninsula, Baffin Island, Nunavut, and applied this information to understand the thermotectonic evolution of the area. His work was part of a multidisciplinary mapping project in this area led by the Geological Survey of Canada.
