Isotope Science Lab

The Isotope Science Lab of the University of Calgary (ISL) is the sole Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) facility at the UofC. The ISL promotes and orchestrates all stable isotope research within and across the UofC community. In addition, the ISL performs limited 'external' analyses for a wide range of researchers outside the university on a cost recovery basis. Go to Prices

The Principal Investigators (PIs) supervising the Isotope Science Lab are:
Dr. Bernhard Mayer (Applied Geochemistry, Dept. Earth, Energy and Environment)
Dr. Michael Wieser (Atom Mass Lab, Dept. Physics and Astronomy)
