UCalgary Together

Thank you for supporting Giving Day 2020

We are stronger together

Since its launch in 2017, funds raised on Giving Day have made a real difference to UCalgary students and researchers, and strengthened the university as a whole — making UCalgary a leader during times of crisis and beyond.

This year, we took a different approach to Giving Day — raising funds for COVID-19 research and student relief, as well as volunteer hours in support of the community. And the response has been incredible, with thousands of UCalgary community members — alumni, colleagues, friends and neighbours — contributing to make a positive impact during a very difficult time.

Thank you for being a part of UCalgary Together — Giving Day 2020. Truly, we are stronger together.

UCalgary Together: Community action on COVID-19

Giving Day may be over but there are still ways to support our students and advance our research.

COVID-19 Student Relief

COVID-19 abruptly forced students into new academic and financial realities. The impact is immediate and significant, especially for those already facing higher levels of debt, food insecurity and mental health concerns. Your support will help students disproportionately affected by COVID-19, allowing them to focus on their academic goals during this challenging time.

COVID-19 Research Fund

UCalgary researchers are already invested in mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 global health crisis. From developing improved diagnostics and treatment to studying community preparedness and mental health impacts, our research teams have quickly mobilized to create positive change. Your support will help further this important work.
