RBC Entrepreneurial Thinking Adventure Leadership

In 2020-2021, the funding for Entrepreneurial Thinking Adventure Leadership was redirected to the Mitacs Business Strategy Internship (MBSI) program due to restrictions on in-person learning during the pandemic. MBSI provides students with the opportunity to apply their skills and business acumen to real-world experiential learning opportunities, while expanding their networks within the business community.

RBC’s funding supported 25 projects in the latest cohort. This resulted in 37 students each receiving at least 450 hours of innovative project experience in a real-world environment. Organizations represented the fields of agriculture, finance, energy, education, construction, culture, health and more. There is tremendous opportunity for students to learn how to apply their skills and develop new ones towards meaningful organizational outcomes.
