Industrial Design Degree Programme
In the Fall 1997 term, Professor Denis Gadbois will be offering a new course, EVDS 697.35 Introduction to Multimedia. The course will appeal to any students who wish to make interactive presentations for classes or MDP defenses. It focuses on audio, video, and Macromedia Director. Case studies are introduced and step by step exercises are used.
Stuart Walker gave a keynote address on sustainable product design at the Eternally Yours conference in Holland, in March. A book containing this paper and others presented at the conference, will be published in the Fall of 1997.
The International Congress of Societies of Industrial Design will take place in Toronto, August 23-27. Stuart Walker will be presenting a paper and will be a Design Host for the conference.
Professor Jim O'Grady returned from a one year sabbatical in July and will be Program Coordinator under the new EVDS administration.
Stuart Walker will be on sabbatical for one year commencing September 1st.
