Faculty and Staff Sustainability Opportunities
My colleagues really enjoy the Earth Day events and small initiatives I plan to build awareness of sustainability issues. As our office is located off campus, we have different challenges from offices located in main campus buildings, but creativity and support from the Office of Sustainability have been key to our success.

Sustainability Coordinators Community of Practice
The Sustainability Coordinators Community of Practice is a network of UCalgary staff, faculty and graduate assistants taking daily action to make our campus a more sustainable place to live, work and study.
We meet three times per year to share sustainability tips, solve problems and celebrate our successes. Your time commitment is flexible, but please aim to attend at least two to three meetings per year and commit at least three hours per month to implementing sustainability initiatives in your workplace.
Before signing up, please discuss your participation with your direct supervisor and secure their support.
Do you have what it takes to be a Sustainability Coordinator? Contact the Sustainability Resource Centre to sign up or request more information. We look forward to working with you.
