University of Calgary

Mobility services

Supply Chain Management and Information Technologies are pleased to announce the selection of Rogers Communications Inc. as the University of Calgary’s preferred supplier for mobility services.

The preferred supplier agreement will be of interest to faculty and staff who use mobility services (cell phone hardware and service plans) for  University of Calgary purposes. The agreement also offers opportunities to faculty and staff who would like plans for personal use and to students through plans directed to them.

In addition to the new plan, Rogers is offering a unique service option called the Dinos Zone, which is an add-on plan to service in the university area (Main campus, Foothills campus and Spy Hill). Rogers has a store on campus in Science B to assist faculty, staff and students.

For more details, log in to “MyUofC” portal and select the quick link for “Buy a Rogers Cell Phone.”

The university and Rogers will work together to transition faculty and staff who currently use mobility services for university purposes to the new mobility services plan. Individuals who have mobility services contracts through the university will be notified by e-mail with further information on their specific transition plan. The transition will be implemented in phases and may take time for some mobility services users depending on their current contracts. It is important that you do not cancel your current service contract. Please wait until you have received information regarding your transition before taking action, as there are penalties or buyouts that will be addressed as part of the transition process.
