The Networks Research Group consists of 4 faculty members, 4 research staff, 3 post-doctoral fellows, and 18 graduate students with shared interests in the design, analysis, and performance evaluation of network-based systems, including multimedia systems, peer-to-peer networks, wireless networks, and the World Wide Web.
Much of our work is carried out experimentally, using the resources available in the Experimental Laboratory for Internet Systems and Applications (ELISA), as well as the Wireless Internet Performance Laboratory (WIPL) at the University of Calgary.
