About Us

The Theatrical Scene and Costume Design collection was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Special Collections and Library and Cultural Resources at the University of Calgary, with generous funding provided by the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library.

The Theatrical Scene and Costume Design digital collection is dedicated to the memory of Robyn Herrington.

The repository contains digitized scene and costume designs that date from the mid-nineteenth century to the present, many of which were commissioned for stage and film productions in Europe and North America. A catalogue record has been created for each design, which contains keywords that can be used as suggested search terms. In addition, a number of supplementary resources are available for research purposes and general interest.
