Assessing the Impact of the Commons on Learning Outcomes, a workshop led by Melinda Scott.

Pre-conference workshop registration fee:  $75

Melinda Scott is the Director, Student Experience at George Brown College in Toronto where she is responsible for overseeing the Division of Student Services & Campus Life.  Prior to joining George Brown in 2011, Melinda spent several years at the University of Toronto.  As the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Life at U of T, Melinda was responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive learning outcomes and assessment framework for the Division of Student Life Programs and Services, and for overseeing several institution wide projects designed to assess the student experience.  In 2010 Melinda was commissioned by the Student Affairs and Services Association (SASA) to present a rolling workshop on assessment in higher education at institutions across Canada. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph and completed her Masters in Higher Education at the University of Toronto.
