Facilities

Based at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Clark H. Smith Brain Tumor Center occupies laboratory space in the Heritage Medical Research Building, and the Health Sciences Centre. The Smith Center is currently relocating into new space in the Health Research Innovation Centre, which is physically joined with Smith Center-allocated space in the Heritage Medical Research Building. Clinical research takes place at the Foothills Hospital and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, which are located within the same research complex, as well as the Alberta Children's Hospital, located a few minutes away at the U of C's West Campus. 

The following core facilities provide key support for researchers at the Smith Center:
